In My Shoes – In Her Shoes
Experiencing mild cognitive impairment, or being a caretaker of someone who is experiencing memory loss is often frustrating, and relationships and nerve endings become strained, despite love. This is the place to de-stress, and make it better. When you are feeling upset, identify how you are feeling. Then, identify how he/she is feeling. By posting both, you will achieve greater understanding and acceptance, and also be a help to others in your shoes, who are dealing with the daily difficulties of losing memory or taking care of someone with cognitive impairment. Just wait! You may well find that others post comments in response to your In My Shoes/In Her Shoe post!
