What Is She Thinking??
In My Shoes:
She doesn’t remember that she asked me about her bank accounts two hours and thirty five minutes ago- or that we spent the last two hours and thirty minutes reviewing her accounts. Once she was clear on the status of her money- which banks, how much interest, etc., I stood up and poured myself a cup of coffee and set about to begin my day’s work. Finally- time to focus on the things I need to do for me.
“Honey, when you have a chance, can you please tell me where my money is?”
The stress wells and I want to pull my hair out.

In Her Shoes:
I have memory problems but I am not an imbecile. I have a right to know where my money is and how much I have. I have yielded as much control as I am willing to. Yes, I need some help to keep it all straight. But how much effort does it really take for her to tell me where my money is when I want to know? After all, I need to write checks.
How can this situation be remedied??
